Pick a neighborhood you've never explored and bring just your phones. Set a challenge like 'find beauty in decay' or 'capture strangers' hands' to give your walk a creative focus.

Take turns directing each other to interesting shots, acting as each other's creative director. Don't be afraid to lie on the ground or climb on benches for the perfect angle.

Find a coffee shop and edit your favorite shots together, discussing what drew you to each image. Create a shared album and pick your top three photos from the day.

Create a scavenger hunt list: Something Red, A Stranger's Hands, Reflection, Shadows, Graffiti with Heart. Split into teams if you're with another couple.

Roam your neighborhood or downtown with just your phones. You have one hour to capture everything on the list—creative interpretations encouraged.

Meet back up and share photos. Judge on creativity, humor, and composition. The winner gets to pick the next date.

Research street art in your city or just wander a vibrant neighborhood known for murals. Bring a camera or phone to document your favorites.

Grab coffee or a drink at a local spot and flip through your photos. Pick your favorite piece and talk about what you'd paint if you had a wall and no rules.

Research a historic neighborhood and bring small sketchbooks and pencils. No art skills required—stick figures welcome.

Walk slowly, noticing doorways, cornices, windows, and details. Every 15 minutes, stop and each sketch the same building facade for 5 minutes.

Compare sketches and laugh at the different details you each noticed. Grab a drink and flip through your sketchbooks like a shared travel journal.
