Virtual Cooking Class Showdown

Each person secretly picks a recipe in a cuisine the other person isn't familiar with. Shop for ingredients separately, keeping your dish a surprise until you're both in the kitchen.

Cook your dishes simultaneously in the same kitchen, helping each other only when specifically asked. Set a timer and see who finishes first, documenting all the chaos and mistakes along the way.

Present your dishes with elaborate plating and fake restaurant names. Taste and score each other's creations on taste, presentation, and creativity, with the loser doing dishes.

Each person buys 5 progressively spicier items - hot sauces, chips, candies, etc. Line them up from 'warm-up' to 'oh god why'.

Take turns trying each level together. Film reactions, have milk standing by, and see who taps out first. No judgment for quitting.

Cool down with ice cream or popsicles. Laugh at the video footage and vow to never eat the hottest one again (you will).

Whoever usually makes breakfast stays in bed this time. The other sneaks to the kitchen to prepare an elaborate spread with all their favorites.

Serve breakfast on a tray with flowers, the newspaper, and a handwritten note. Climb back into bed to eat together slowly, no rushing allowed.

Spend the morning in pajamas, taking turns reading articles aloud and planning a lazy day with absolutely no obligations.

Hit a retro arcade bar and exchange a pile of quarters. Create a tournament bracket of games from Pac-Man to racing simulators.

Battle through each game, keeping score and trash-talking lovingly. Document your victories with the photo booth between rounds.

Crown the champion over celebratory drinks and make plans to defend the title next month. Winner picks the next date.
